Gardening Trends for 2013

The new year always draws in new styles in fashion, beauty and interior design. Since a new year symbolizes a fresh start, our gardens shouldn’t be left out of the mix and must also be gifted with a fresh assortment of greenery and blooms.

Summer 2012 was the year of the wildflower meadow, as showcased by the work of James Hitchmough, Nigel Dunnett and Sarah Price at the Olympic Park, a spectacular focal point during the Games. Many experts agree that gardeners will continue to draw inspiration from this planting style.
This trend is set to continue along with the prediction that seeds, rather than plants will attract the spotlight due to gardeners’ tightening budgets.
