The Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (Rics) expects that prices and sales of houses are going to go up during the first quarter of 2013.
This is because of a report that says there is growing confidence in the sector and more surveyors are actually looking forward to increased transactions involving the sale of houses, rather than the other way around.
According to the latest survey, the housing market in some areas is now “over the very worst”. And more surveyors are forecasting an increase in prices for the same period – first quarter of 2012 – due to the report and surveys made.
The climb in confidence among surveyors was there, even though there was a net balance of about 19 percent more respondents who reported house price falls in December.
